EA Motive is working on an unannounced Star Wars action game

EA Motive is currently working on an unannounced Star Wars action game.

News of the EA Motive working on a Star Wars action game came in the form of a recent job listing for a software developer, according to multiple outlets.

In October, the Star Wars Squadrons studio announced it was working on "several unannounced projects," and it appears a new Star Wars game is just one of the games in the works.

"In addition to Star Wars: Squadrons, we’re also working on several unannounced projects, said general manager Patrick Klaus.

"Innovation is tough, but it’s also exciting and energizing. With our new mission, we're trying a lot of things and testing many ideas which you can’t get attached to, as iteration and experimentation are healthy and a key to finding something great.

"The team is super talented and we’re all striving to make aspirational games that push the boundaries of what players expect now and into the future."

Star Wars Squadrons was released on October 2 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and it supports cross-play across all platforms. It is also playable in VR on both PS4 and PC, plus it supports HOTAS on PC and consoles.

The latest update to the game added a cosmetic pack themed after The Mandalorian Disney series, which includes a Baby Yoda bobblehead for your dashboard, one cockpit hologram, one decal, and one hanging flair free.
