EA is releasing a remaster by March and people think it's Mass Effect

US publishing giant Electronic Arts is planning to release a remaster of one of its games in the coming months.

In its presentation for investors for the three months ending September 30, the firm says that it is looking to release a remaster, alongside a brand new title via its EA Originals indie publishing label by the end of the 2021 fiscal year.

In English, that means that EA wants to have these games out by the end of next March.

Rumours have been circulating about a remastered version of the original Mass Effect Trilogy for some time now. Previous reports have said that this updated version of BioWare's classic sci-fi RPG would be out by March 2021, too.

In October, a release called Mass Effect Legendary Edition was assessed by Korea's age ratings body, which likely points to a release being fairly imminent.

Tomorrow is November 7, or N7 Day if you're a fan of the Mass Effect series. This is normally a time when the community and BioWare celebrate the series. This year, the cast of Mass Effect is reuniting for a livestream on N7 Day.
