EA generated $90m through digital distribution in Q1

Speaking in EA's first quarter earnings call last night, the firm revealed that more than $90 million had been generated in revenue through digital distribution in the three months ending June 30.

The money comes from downloads from the EA Store, as well as console micropayments.

The figure represents 11 percent of EA's total revenue of $804 million for the period.
