EA appoints Blake Jorgensen as chief financial officer

EA today announced the appointment of Blake Jorgensen as its EVP and CFO. Jorgensen will report directly to CEO John Riccitiello and will have responsibility for the company's global financial operations. Jorgensen takes over for former CFO Eric Brown, who resigned in February. Jorgensen was most recently EVP and CFO of Levi Strauss & Co.; prior to that, he was CFO at Yahoo until early 2009. He will start at EA in early September 2012, and interim CFO Ken Barker, who filled the position temporarily over the last five months, will become chief accounting officer.
