Dust 514: Learning all skills will take 7 years, says CCP

Better shut the curtains, Dust 514 is going to take plenty of time to master.
The game has passive abilities that your character can learn through a progress bar that fills over time, even when you're not playing. While this can be compared to similar features in EvE, you can also receive new abilities by doing well and earning in battle.
A CCP team member confirmed to VG247 that, on average, it will take seven years to learn all of the skills that come packed on the disc. There are thousands to unlock, meaning you'll have plenty of say over what direction your character moves in.
