Drakengard 3 will have weapon stories, Kainé costume

Nier fans who pick up the 10th Anniversary Commemoration edition of Drakengard 3 will score a Kainé costume.

Siliconera reports Kainé's costume has been chosen as the bonus outfit included in the 10th Anniversary Commemoration edition.

Kainé was one of three main party member sin Nier, a game with strong story ties to the Drakengard series.

One other little tidbit emerged regarding the RPG today; it will feature weapon stories, a popular feature in both past Drakengard games and Nier, which gives backgroun detail on every weapon in the game, making their acquisition more interesting than the usual collect-a-thon of JRPGs. In Drakengard 3, weapons will have different uses and you can switch between them mid-combo.

Drakengard 3 is coming to PlayStation 3 in Japan in late October. It has not been dated for the west.
