Dragon Quest Monsters 2 debuts strong on Media Create, 3DS LL only hardware to show growth

The Dragon Quest Monsters 2 remake topped the Media Create charts last week with 443,656 units moved on 3DS. Square Enix's Puyopuyo Tetris came in second on 3DS with 44, 627 units sold, but when PS3 and PS Vita versions are factored in, the title moved 63,906.

Terraria also debuted in the region courtesy of Spike Chunsoft, with 15,070 units moved on Vita. Bandai Namco's Super Heroine Chronicle also debuted in the eight and 13 spots on Vita and PS3, respectively.

Hardware sales were once again down for the week with number one 3DS LL the only hardware offering to show growth week-over-week. Sales for the handheld were up 10,264 over the prior period.
