Dragon Age: Inquisition's patch has had some unexpected consequences

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a huge, complicated game, so it's not really a surprise that the new patch introduces a couple of bugs as well as fixing a lot of them.

Especially on PC, Dragon Age: Inquisition players are reporting problems after applying the patch.

One of the most prominent complaints is changes to customised characters following the update. Kotaku reports scars may be erased. IGN reports characters may be aged significantly.

There are loads of Reddit threads on the subject of poor performance of the PC version in addition to the newly-introduced bugs.

Hopefully there are more people enjoying all the great fixes than are affected by the new issues. I haven't grabbed the update yet (Destiny, you know how it is) so can't comment. How have you all found it?
