The Dota 2 International had its first back-to-back victory this weekend

For the second time in a row, OG has taken out The International, becoming the first team to claim back-to-back victories in Dota 2's biggest tournament.

OG, the game's most dominant team, took victory over Team Liquid in the finals at the Dota 2 International, becoming the first team - and, in fact, the first individuals, as the team makeup has not changed - to win twice in a row.

The International had a total prize pool of $34,308,989 this year - the biggest in the history of esports, overtaking the $30 million of the Fortnite World Cup.

The members of OG took home a combined $15,607,638, amounting to over $3 million each for the individual members of the team. They recorded 14 wins and 2 losses across the whole event. The final outcome was decided across four games between the two teams.
