Doom reviews round up - all the scores

How does the reboot stack up after its first weekend out in the wild?

Doom reviews round up - all the scores

Doom made its debut on Friday 13th, a day usually reserved for falling victim to bad luck and men wearing hockey masks.

This year it marked the release of the Doom reboot, coming a whole decade after the last iteration in the series.

The Doom Marine is fighting his way through hordes of demons in hell using the huge arsenal of weapons at his disposal, although executive producer Marty Stratton assures players that there’s more to Doom than “just running and gunning.”

There's no co-op campaign this time around, but the SnapMap feature can be used to create and share your own maps that you can play with friends, but if that's not something that floats your boat, then you'll just have to wait for future installments when we may see the return of co-op.

So how do the single-player campaign and multiplayer fare? We've gathered up all of the scores for you below. As always, they're are out of ten unless otherwise noted.

Doom is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
