Doom Eternal soundtrack features a choir made up of metal singers

This behind-the-scenes video for Doom Eternal delves into how the development team enlisted metal singers for the soundtrack.

Doom Eternal will have a rather kick-ass soundtrack because it's very metal and metal kicks ass. You can get a taste of what to expect in the latest developer video.

The developers enlisted a heavy metal choir to perform the chant for the Slayer. In order to create the choir, an open call was posted inviting metal singers to audition. Around 20 were chosen.

The result is a really cool soundtrack featuring singers of various disciplines, from traditional to death metal and even Mongolian metal.

Doom Eternal releases PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 20 and a Nintendo Switch port will also become available later in the year.

If you pre-order the game, you will receive  Doom 64 as a pre-order bonus. Here's everything you need to know about the game ahead of release.
