Doom datamined: new enemies and weapons revealed

Includes what looks like random boss encounters for single-player campaign mode.

Doom's closed alpha has been datamined to within an inch of its life, confirming the return of some familiar enemies and a whole bunch of weapons to send them back to hell.

This list reveals all enemy types so far, and includes those we know about and a few surprises, such as the return of the Spider Mastermind and variations on the Cyber Demon.

More exciting are these neat little webm videos from DoomWorld poster Mr Dope, showing a bunch of weapons in action and what looks to be quicker movement speed for the player. Here's the chainsaw chugging along, the ever-beautiful chaingun, the assault rifle and the plasma rifle.

Also of note is this list, which seems to indicate there will be random boss encounters within the campaign mode.

Doom is due for release May 13 on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
