Don't buy the NES Classic Edition off eBay just yet - Nintendo sending more stock to retail

The NES Classic Edition is selling out left and right at retail, and if you missed out on this round, check back with your local retailer at a later date.

The NES Classic Edition officially launched today, and due being sold out almost everywhere, it's inevitable than many of the systems have popped up on eBay, many for hundreds of dollars - which is ridiculous.

Nintendo of America said on Twitter today it is “working hard to keep up with consumer demand," and that a steady flow of additional systems will be made available throughout the holiday shopping season and into the new year.

The company suggested that customers who are looking to purchase one keep checking for replenished stock.
