Doki-Doki Universe gamescom trailer introduces you to an adorable robot

Doki-Doki Universe is heading to PS3, PS4 and Vita, and today HumaNature Studios has released the gamescom trailer showing off Toejam and Earl creator Greg Johnson's latest.

Doki-Doki Universe will be released in stages, as previously announced, with the first entry a free download comprised of personality quizzes.

Cross-platform chat is one of the features along with premium DLC packs offering various world full of exploration options.

In the game, players take on the role of a robot called Model QT377665, or QT3, who was abandoned on an asteroid 11,432 days ago.

An alien arrives to announce that this particular model is being scrapped because it does not possess enough humanity; however, the little robot can save himself by proving otherwise.

Doki-Doki Universe will land on PS4 digitally as a release window game - so expect it sometime before December 31.
