The Division 2 is free to play this weekend

The Division 2 free to play weekend is live, and you have until Monday to take on warring factions in D.C.

PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One can play The Division 2 free until Monday, June 17.

Ubisoft announced the free weekend during its E3 presentation on Monday.

All Standard Edition activities are available alongside three Dark Zones, and dedicated PvP modes in Conflict.

Ubisoft notes that multiplayer activities require Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus. But you won't need PS Plus to access single-player.

All progress made will carry over to the full game upon purchase.

The Division 2 is on sale this week, with discounts ranging from 31% off to 49% off the standard edition depending upon the store. The deepest discount is on the Epics Games Store, while the lower discount is through the PS Store.
