Disney Infinity players downloaded over 1 million Toy Boxes during game's first two weeks

Disney Infinity players downloaded more than one million Toy Boxes across all platforms in its first two weeks, Disney has told Polygon.

Speaking in an interview with the site, executive producer John Vignocchi, said company data showed that players engaging in user-generated content were "ten times more likely to continue to play Disney Infinity than those who don't."

"It's wild when you look at the data and you can see that direct correlation," he said. "We're coming up with all of the new content digitally and physically, [and] the primary demographic is kids but we are completely blown away by the teens and adults that are into the platform and are part of the community."

Upcoming content includes the Toy Story in Space playset on October 22 along with Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen characters landing in November. More content is planned for early next year and a PC version of Toy Box is out next month.
