The "other, other" digital distributor, Direct2Drive, are throwing a slightly whimsical codeword-powered sale by chopping 20 percent off the full price of all MMOs, including City of Heroes and Guild Wars, apparently to celebrate the upcoming release of the also-discounted DC Universe Online.

The MMO sale runs through to 10:00 PM PST (6:00 PM GMT) on 10 January, and requires the voucher code JOKER at checkout.

The full list of titles in the MMO sale is as folows: DC Universe Online (pre-order); RIFT Standard Edition; RIFT Digital Collector's Edition (pre-order); Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Edition; Everquest: House of Thule; Everquest II: Sentinel's Fate; Guild Wars Trilogy; LEGO Universe; Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures Premium Plus pack (which wins a small award for Incredibly Long Name), and World of Warcraft.
