Diner Dash pops up on Facebook

It stalks you. It calls to you. It burns in you as a hunger. And now it's on Facebook, too, so you'll never, ever escape the siren lure of Diner Dash.

Gamasutra writes that PlayFirst have pushed their classic time management restaurant game onto Facebook as part of an expansion into social media.

Currently in beta, Diner Dash Facebook offers new features like gifts, neighbours, posting bonuses and customisable avatars.

Set in a new version of Diner Town lacking the series' distinctive polish, the game permits players to work as many shifts as their daily quote of energy permits, and to utilise money earned in-game to decorate a park and other, future attractions.

Diner dash is PlayFirst's second foray, with its first, Chocolatier: Sweet Society, racking up over 41,000 daily users.
