Diablo 4 rumoured to be revealed at BlizzCon 2016
Hold on tight for this one.
Before you get too excited, the root of all this lies in a D4 die.
YouTuber Rhykker uploaded a video discussing the infamous D4 that fans are suggesting points to a Diablo 4 annoucement at BlizzCon.
The short version is the numbers are printed wrong and as such can be read as the date for BlizzCon 2016 which is November 4. So D4 on November 4. Diablo 4. You get it. Is it a tenuous link, a clever hint, or just a misprint?
In the meantime, PC Gamer has reported that Diabo 2's project lead David Brevik and senior producer Bill Roper were spotted at Blizzard California, adding further fuel to the flames.
Coincidence? Perhaps.
The long and short of it is that everyone is super psyched and wants to see Diablo 4, and Blizzard are either doing a very subtle job in teasing the impending announcement or people are reading far too much into things.
We'll find out which it is in a few weeks at BlizzCon.
