Devil May Cry 5 will be 4K with 60fps on PS4 Pro

According to Capcom producer Matt Walker, Devil May Cry 5 will perform quite well on the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Devil May Cry 5 is looking pretty damn sweet all things considered. And as it turns out, it will look even better on a PS4 Pro.

Capcom producer Matt Walker recently took to Twitter when asked whether DMC5 would be PS4 Pro enhanced. His answer? "It will indeed. 4k@60fps on Pro." Now, we'll admit that the Pro technically isn't native 4K, but uses visual techniques to simulate 4K resolutions, yet the finished game will clearly be optimized for that experience.

Which isn't to say DMC 5 doesn't have some potential drawbacks. The finished game will include microtransactions, specifically to obtain the "red orb" currency. Capcom has assured fans there will be "ample" red orbs available from standard gameplay, but we'll see how that pans out at launch.

DMC 5 launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 8, 2019.
