Devil May Cry 5 Devil Breakers List

In the rest of the guide below, we'll be putting together a complete list of all the different Devil Breaker arms featured throughout Devil May Cry 5. Every single one of these arms is available to be purchased from Nico's motorhome, as well as found on the ground while you're playing the game.

Overture

This is your standard Devil Breaker arm in Devil May Cry 5. You can either use Overture to send out a single electrical shock, or charge it up for a massive discharge. Overture costs 500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Gerbera

Gerbera is your most agile and mobile Devil Breaker arm in Devil May Cry 5. You can either use the arm to bounce around the battlefield and evade attacks, or send an energy beam through enemies. Gerbera costs 500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Punch Line

This is definitely one of the more powerful Devil Breaker arms. You can either use it to send a single explosive rocket, or charge Punch Line up to send out one powerful rocket punch, which Nero can actually mount. Punch Line costs 500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Helter Skelter

Think of Helter Skelter as Nero's armor piercing Devil Breaker arm in Devil May Cry 5. You can use it's projectiles to break through enemy guards, which is excellent in the later stages of the game when you're going to encounter a lot of enemies with shields. Halter Skelter costs 1,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Tomboy

The Tomboy is really tricky to use and get just right. It basically powers up Nero's sword and pistol for a short time after use, which is great if you're stranded in the middle of a huge battle with multiple enemies. Tomboy costs 1,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Buster Arm

Quite possibly the most experimental and technical Devil Breaker arm in Devil May Cry 5. You can use the charged ability, plus the Devil Bringer ability to kill a single enemy in one hit. The Buster Arm costs 3,500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Rawhide

Rawhide is like a massive metal whip. You can use it to either strike enemies from a pretty great distance, or use to reel them in for a massive follow up attack. Rawhide costs 1,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Ragtime

Remember how Urizen can use a special orb that slows Nero down? Well this Devil Breaker arm can be exactly that, shooting out a field that slows all enemies within its radius. Ragtime costs 2,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Gerbera GP-01

GP-01 is an upgraded version of the standard Gerbera arm. It has an increased mobility distance and range, giving Nero an even greater range on his dodges using the arm. The Gerbera GP-01 arm costs 500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Pasta Breaker

This Devil Breaker... was designed to help Nero eat pasta? Hey man, whatever goats your float. The Pasta Breaker's end fork can spin pretty nicely, but it's not doing much else outside of that. Pasta Breaker costs 2,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Sweet Surrender

And another weird arm. Sweet Surrender was made so Nero can apparently be more gentle and soothing around Kyrie. The Sweet Surrender Devil Breaker costs 3,500 red orbs from Nico's shop.

Mega Buster

Mega Man's Mega Buster arm shoots long range projectiles at enemies, perfect for when you don't want to get up close and personal. Fun fact: when wielding this, Nero also jumps like Mega Man, arms outstretched to the heavens. The Mega Buster arm costs 1,000 red orbs from Nico's shop.

What are Devil Breakers in Devil May Cry 5?

Once you've completed the prologue mission of Devil May Cry 5, where Nero is down to one arm and helpless against Urizen, you'll unlock his new prosthetic arm. The Devil Breaker is an invention of gunsmith Nico, and at the very beginning of the game, Nero can kit himself out with four different Devil Breakers heading into a mission.

There are different variations of Devil Breaker arms in Devil May Cry 5 for Nero to equip, and each provide the young devil hunter with a unique ability, which is tied to the Circle/B button. Press the button, and the Devil Breaker will execute its unique ability. For example if you have Gerbera equipped, pressing the action button will let Nero vault from side to side, easily sidestepping any incoming attacks.

The amount of Devil Breakers you can take with you on any one mission in Devil May Cry 5 can be increased by spending red orbs in the upgrade screen (head over to our Devil May Cry 5 Abilities guide for more).

How to Get Devil Breakers in Devil May Cry 5

There are two options for obtaining Devil Breaker arms in Devil May Cry 5. You can either purchase individual Devil Breaker arms while you're in the customization menu at Nico's motorhome (you can see purchase amounts in each images below), or you can find them while you're playing through missions as Nero.

You're going to come across individual Devil Breaker arms in Devil May Cry 5, but only while you're playing as Nero. When you find a Devil Breaker lying on the ground, it'll give you the maximum inventory slot for that particular arm. So if you find Gerbera on the ground during a mission, it'll instantly provide you with six new Gerbera arms for Nero.
