Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC gets DirectX 12 support this very week

Where is DirectX 12 for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? Funny you should ask that this week.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC will support DirectX 12 as of a patch rolling out this week.

Eidos Montreal community manager Poitcha confirmed the news on Reddit overnight, saying the patch was due "tomorrow". Accounting for the age of the post and the perfidy of timezones, we're expecting it, uh, somewhere in the vague vicinity of Thursday, US time.

DirectX 12 support has originally been expected to hit Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on September 5, but what's three days between friends?

I wish Sherif were here to write a lovely paragraph on all the ways DirectX 12 support will benefit Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but in his absence I'm going to assume that if you have been hanging out for this patch you already know why this is such delightful news.
