Destiny Xur update: should you buy Year 2 Plan C?
Xur brought a weapon with him this weekend in Destiny. That weapon is Plan C, the infusion rifle from Year 1 - updated for Year 2 of course.
In Year 1, Plan C wasn't among the top fusion rifles. Unfortunately for fusion rifle fans, the case is a somewhat similar in Year 2. It still does Arc damage, so will come in handy whenever Arc burn is active, but its recharge rate is a bit on the low side.
The Plan C perk, which decreases recharge time immediately after swapping for it, is still useful in PvP. However, fusion rifles in general are not in a great place right now in the Crucible, so it's not a huge deal.
In short, you can safely avoid it, unless you're just collecting.
