Destiny Xur update: should you buy Year 2 Dragon's Breath?
Dragon's Breath is this week's Xur Exotic pick. Is the Year 2 version worth getting?
Dragon's Breath was sort of a joke during the first year of Destiny. It looked cool in pre-release images and got everyone excited, but was undoubtedly underwhelming to actually use.
The rocket launcher was among the weapons brought into Year 2 early, alongside an upgrade in damage and some interesting perks to boot.
This week, Xur is selling the new version. Although it remains out of the upper echelon, the Napalm perk makes it so the weapon drops a Solar Damage napalm canister upon releasing the trigger after every salvo.
There are a couple of ways you can use this feature. Alex's weapon review above explains how to do this, as well as take a look at the rest of the weapon's features. It's a good improvement overall from Year 1, but you may still choose to go for something else in your Exotic slot.
