Some Destiny players are not receiving loot at the end of the Vault of Glass raid

Destiny's hardest challenge is the Vault of Glass raid, which has opened its gate to all fairly recently. Some of payers who attempted, and finished the raid, are reporting that they're not receiving any loot at the end of it.
Quite the disappointment it seems too, since the raid will take you hours of trying and many, may deaths.
Over on Bungie forums, some players are reporting that after finishing the Vault of Glass raid, they did not receive any loot, despite actually unlocking achievements that prove they've cleared the raid.
At the time of writing, Bungie has not yet replied to the forum thread or made any comments about the issue, so you should consider not doing the raid until we know for sure the issue has been fixed.
