Destiny: Rise of Iron - check out sweet new armour and weapons

New Destiny expansion Rise of Iron adds a whole new Destination on Earth, a story campaign, a strike, a raid, an increased light cap and also these little beauties: new weapons and armour.

Interestingly, the new armour sets diverge markedly by class. Only the Warlock gear really has that Iron Banner feel to it. The Titan set has a real Warmind or perhaps SIVA look to it. I have no idea what's going on with the cat motif on the Hunter set. It's a little Trials of Osiris, maybe?

Anyway, take a look through the images arranged below. Activision supplied these at some blistering resolution that began with a seven and had four digits, so that each one was a wallpaper-worthy marvel of detail and delight. They took forever to download. I considered well my flimsy noodle Australian upstream, and then I ran them through two PhotoShop batch processes. Now we can all look at them without waiting an eternity for the page to load and potentially crashing browsers and eating through your data limit.
