Destiny Terminus area found on Venus by clever jumper

One Destiny player has found a way to access yet another secret area, this time on Venus.

Destiny is designed to be expanded and as such its environments are littered with obvious hook points for new content.

Some of the structure needed to connect to this new material is in place in the main game, and users have found various glitches and exploits - or in this case, savvy navigation - in order to access some of it.

The latest example is the Terminus, an area of Venus accessed by taking a gravity lift from the Juncture. You'll need to be a good jumper to replicate this feat. Nowise10 looks to be taking advantage of the Gunslinger's triple jump ability, but you might be able to do it with a Warlock or Titan provided you had good in-air control.

Multiple secret areas have also been found in the Cosmodrome, which is unsurprising given how thoroughly it was explored during alpha and beta. We're expecting these areas to be fleshed out in DLC; the first expansion drops in December. Bungie has said that eventually it hopes to make playable environments of all the geometry you can see in the distance.
