Update 2:

As of 4.16pm ET today, the issues which plagued the Nightfall Strike have been resolved. So, have at it.

Update:

Bungie has responded on Twitter to acknowledge the issue and say it's investigating.

Original story: You may want to hold off on playing this week's Destiny Nightfall for a bit.

Various reports are cropping up on the Destiny sub-Reddit pointing towards a bug in this week's Nightfall strike that prevents users from proceeding.

This week's strike, which went live minutes ago, is the Sunless Cell. The strike ends with the Darkblade boss fight, but you won't be able to get there.

Reports suggest enemies not spawning in the strike's first half, but the real issue is how the door to the ogre remains shut, even after resetting, going back to orbit, and even kicking everyone out but the host. Basically, no one can get past this point.

Bungie has yet to say anything on Twitter, but we'll keep an eye out.
