Destiny 2 datamine reveals information on perks, stats, more for The Last Word

Thanks to a datamine, details on The Last Word have escaped ahead of The Draw's release for Destiny 2.

The Last Word is coming back in Destiny 2, as you know, and a few details on how to obtain the exotic have surfaced thanks to a datamine.

Over on reddit, Ginsor has posted information on perks, and how to obtain The Last Word.

We're not going to share the entire contents of the datamine because of quest spoilers. But if you wish to remain completely unspoiled, proceed with caution.

Fan Fire returns as a perk, which allows the weapon to fire quickly and continuously. A faster reload and increased accuracy on successive hip-fire damage is a new addition to the perk. Accurized rounds, corkscrew rifling, hip-fire and textured grip are also features of The Last Word.

As for how to obtain the weapon in The Draw questline, Ginsor doesn't have complete details from the datamine. There are, however, ten steps you will need to complete in questline.

If you wish to look over each step in the process in acquiring The Last Word, just hit up the reddit link. Again, we don't want to spoil it for those who wish to remain unsullied.

Back in December, Bungie released a weapons trailer that showcased The Last Word as an obtainable Exotic weapon. It will become available when the Season of the Forge’s Exotic questline, The Draw, goes live on January 29. The Crimson Days seasonal event beginning soon after on February 5.

This week, Bungie released the Bergusia Forge for all players after no one seemed able to solve the final Niobe Labs puzzle.
