Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals - How to get the Seed of Silver Wings Artifact

The Season of Arrivals is just getting started and there’s a brand new Artifact to help you boost your Power levels beyond the current cap: the Seed of Silver Wings.

In each season of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, there’s a new Artifact that will boost your abilities, improve your weapons and increase your Power level. In Season of Arrivals, you’ve got the Seed of Silver Wings. It works similarly to previous Artifacts and there are new seasonal mods to get to grips with.

There are five tiers of mods to unlock, each with unique abilities. Typically, mods improve your use of Sniper Rifles, SMGs and Hand Cannons, as well as provide buffs towards a Barrier or Unstoppable Champions in high-level PvE activities.

Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals - How to get the Seed of Silver Wings Artifact

When you first log in to Destiny 2 after the update, you'll be taken to Io and will begin the opening mission to find Eris, but instead, you'll be transported to the Court of Savathun. You'll face off enemies and switch between the Cradle on Io and the Court until you finally fight Savathun and find Eris, who'll let you take the strange item before you.

Once you've spoken with the Drifter he'll gift you the Seed of Silver Wings Artifact alongside a Power bonus.

To upgrade the Artifact, you'll need to unlock mod tokens by gaining experience through normal play. For players who haven’t reached the level cap, you get a small boost to your overall Power when you jump up a level.

Some mods will allow you to earn more Glimmer while you play, whereas others will increase reload speeds or the chance to stagger Champion enemies. The likes of the Overload Rounds mod for Sidearms and Hand Cannons disrupt targets and lowers their damage, working particularly well against Overload Champions.

You can reset your points without actually losing any of them if you wish to change your Artifact build during Season of Arrivals. It'll also help you push towards 1050 Power and above, but there are still limits on how it can help you in Trials matches.

It'll also make things like the new Prophecy dungeon much easier to complete. The other bit of good news is that Artifact progress is shared between all of your characters, meaning there's much less grinding out for XP involved.
