Destiny 2: Forsaken - Iron Banner Season 4 end time, Bounties, Loot - Everything you need to know

With the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken and the start of Season 4, Lord Saladin has returned with another round of Iron Banner. Here’s everything you need to know about this week’s almighty scrap, including end time, Bounties, and most importantly, loot.

The game mode this time around is Control, so you’ll be working together with a team to capture smoking fire pits around a map. However, if you achieve a Power Play the zones will be locked and uncapturable by the enemy team for 20 seconds - making them a very powerful manoeuver.

You’ll have to equip your strongest gear for this first Iron Banner as well, since Power is enabled. A higher power level than your enemies will give you a huge advantage in-game.

If you’d rather learn everything you need to know about the Season 4 Iron Banner via a video, we’ve embedded a detailed run-down from the brilliant Arekkz below:

Destiny 2: Forsaken Iron Banner end time:

The first Iron Banner of Season 4 began on September 18, so if you’ve not started yet some people will have already got dibs on the loot. But don’t worry, you’ve still got time. The Destiny 2: Forsaken Iron Banner will end on Tuesday, September 25 at Reset Time.

That’s usually 6PM in the UK, 7PM in western and central Europe, 1PM on the East Coast of the US, and 10AM on the West Coast.

Destiny 2: Forsaken Iron Banner Bounties:

If you head over to Lord Saladin in the social hub, he’ll have a selection of seven Bounties on offer for you to complete while playing Iron Banner. These reward you not only with 25 Iron Banner tokens, but gear too. The first five Bounties will give you Legendary gear. While the final two will give you Powerful gear.

The bounty rewards will be Iron Banner specific items, which is a nice touch. You might get duplicates, but at least they’re new duplicates.

All of the Bounties cost 250 Glimmer to buy and last all week. Completing a bounty lets you buy a piece of the Season 4 Iron Banner armor set, which makes it easier to pick up pieces you’re missing.

The Bounties on offer are as follows:

  • Lightbearer - 25 Super final blows
  • In the Zone - Capture 50 zones
  • Iron in the Blood - Complete 30 Iron Banner matches
  • Shine On - Generate 100 orbs of Light
  • Iron Victory - Win 10 games of Iron Banner
  • To be Precise - Land 100 Precision final blows
  • Unrelenting - Land 15 final blows while you have a Power Play

Destiny 2: Forsaken Iron Banner loot:

Sweet, sweet loot is what you really care about though, right?

Well, for participation in this Iron Banner there's a new armor set on offer - along with two new Legendary weapons: the Talons of the Eagle Scout Rifle and the Swarm of the Raven Grenade Launcher.

You can see the weapons in the artwork above, and we've embedded a video of the armor sets. Arekkz also shows them off in the video at 2:30.
