Destiny 2: Forsaken Complete Collection price drops ahead of Shadowkeep launch

Bungie has reduced the price of the Destiny 2: Forsaken Complete Collection in anticipation for next month's release of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

The collection is currently reduced on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and a price drop is expected on Steam come October 1, the studio tweeted. A free Year Two annual pass will also be made available for anyone who owns Forsaken starting September 17.

Destiny 2: Forsaken Complete Collection is available on Xbox One and PS4 for $24.99.

Bungie revealed to us last month it would be pushing the release of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep from September 17 to October.

“Team health is really important to us,” Scott Taylor, production director at Bungie, said at the time. “We want to continue to be proud to work at Bungie because it’s a great place to work. Being able to balance that was better for the game, but it was also neat to see how the team reacted. Like ‘oh, I can breathe a little bit, I can step back and figure out how we’re going to close’.

“We’ve never done that before, it was awesome to see how supportive the community and the fans were and internally people were able to close a little more sane.”
