Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris - check out every Exotic in the new DLC

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris brings several new pieces of Exotic gear with it - let's have a closer look at it.

As part of our Destiny 2 guide, we've already rounded up all of the game's Exotics, including all the Exotic weapons (in the base game and this DLC). But with Curse of Osiris being brand new, we're still learning new things about some of them.

This new video from Arekkz shows off the six Exotic weapons, twelve Exotic pieces of armour (four per class), and six Exotic Ghost shells that can be found in Curse of Osiris. We're not sure how to grab one of the weapons yet (it's likely tied to the Raid Lair), but the rest of the guns (and most of the armour pieces) are Engram drops, so the only way to get them is to keep playing and hope for the best. There's also one piece of armour that each class earns for completing the Curse of Osiris campaign.

The six Exotic weapons shown off are:

  • Prometheus Lens: This gun will definitely get nerfed, as there's currently a bug that makes it much more powerful than it should be. Take this trace rifle into PvP and you should clean up.
  • Telesto: This returning weapon from Destiny 1 feels like the Needler from Halo, leaving projectiles in enemies that later explode.
  • Jade Rabbit: Another returning Exotic, this Scout Rifle is very powerful, and has a lovely design to it.
  • Colony: An Exotic grenade launcher with an 'Insectoid Robot Grenades' intrinsic perk, so they chase targets and explode close to them. Cool.
  • Crimson: We've covered this one already - it's basically the Red Death but a Hand Cannon. It's very satisfying to use.

There's also an Exotic shotgun, as seen in the expansion's trailer, but no one seems to have it yet. Arekkz speculates that it's tied to the Raid Lair, which seems likely.

He showcases the Exotic armour as well. We've got guides for each piece, but here's what Arekkz has to say:

Hunter Exotic Armour

  • Graviton Forfeit (helmet): A helmet returning from Destiny 1. It increases the duration of any invisibility effects, and your melee recharges faster while invisible, and has a nice look to it.
  • Aeon Swift (gauntlets): These are guaranteed when you finish the campaign. Aeon energy grants bonuses to other team mates when you dodge, and it's extra useful if everyone else is also wearing Aeon gear.
  • Shinobu's Vow (gauntlets): These grant you an additional skip grenade charge.
  • Gemini Jester (leg): Dodging disorientates nearby enemies, which is pretty cool, although a lot of these enemies already can't aim.

Titan Exotic Armour

  • Khepri's Horn (helmet): Solo damage kills recharge your barrier, and you get to look like a damn demon.
  • Helm of Saint 14 (helmet): This is a returning item from Destiny 1, and the Starless Night perk can make enemies even more blind than they are normally.
  • Aeon Safe (gauntlets) - These are guaranteed when you finish the campaign. Summoning a barricade grants perks to nearby team members, and it's extra useful if everyone else is also wearing Aeon gear.
  • Mark 44 Stand Aside (legs): These grant an overshield when sprinting at full health, meaning you can sprint right at your enemies without being too worried.

Warlock Exotic Armour

  • The Stag (helmet): This ill grant you Rift energy when critically wounded, puts a healing rift on your corpse if you die. It also looks cool as hell.
  • Ophidian Aspect (gauntlet): These speed up weapon reload and melee range, which is very handy.
  • Aeon Soul (gauntlets): These are guaranteed when you finish the campaign. Throwing grenades grants bonuses to team mates, and they're extra useful if everyone else is also wearing Aeon gear.
  • Vesper of Radius (chest): Rifts release an Arc shockwave when cast, and rift energy recharges faster when you are surrounded by enemies. Warlocks continue to be very powerful.

There are also six exotic Ghost shells that you can get from Bright Engrams. Five of them are lovely rounded designs, including a Cosmos shell that I really want, while Sagira's Shell is based on Osiris' ghost.

So there's plenty of new Exotics up for grabs - hopefully you'll have luck on your side if you want to nab them all.
