Destiny 2: Beyond Light – How to get the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle and complete the Catalyst

Deluxe Edition Destiny 2: Beyond Light players will be able to get their hands on the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle at launch, but you won't be getting it right away.

Unlike the Duality Exotic Shotgun that you can unlock as soon as you log in to Destiny 2 for the first time, you'll need to work to get your hands on the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light – Where to find the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle

Much like fully unlocking the Stasis subclass, you'll need to power your way through the Beyond Light main campaign to earn it, despite it being a pre-order bonus.

Once you've dealt with Eramis, head back to Beyond to have a word with the Exo Stranger and she'll give you the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle and a quest called Soon that will complete its Catalyst.

It comes with the Full Auto Trigger System Trait, where holding down the trigger will fire it at full auto. Its Intrinsic Perk is Rewind Again, where precision shots and shots against combatants slowed or frozen by Stasis will return to the weapon's magazine.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light – How to complete the Soon quest

To complete Soon, you'll need to find five Schematic Code Fragments in the BrayTech Exoscience Facility on Europa. Head up to the room on the right with the Splinter of Darkness Stasis chest in it and you'll find enemies that will drop BT-7707 Helical Mass Driver Schematics.

After that, visit the Stranger again and she'll give you the next step where you'll need to defeat 60 Vex using No Time to Explain in Nexus, Infinitude or The Glassway on Europa.

Nexus is to the right of where you can find the landing zone on the Europa map, or you can just spawn into The Glassway Strike. After that, speak to the Stranger again and then you'll need to use the weapon kill even more enemies, filling the bar up to 100%.

The more challenging the enemy, the faster the bar will fill, so try your luck in Strikes and the like to fill it up. Once you're done, equip the Catalyst and enjoy.

Bungie announced during an Xbox Series X launch livestream that Crucible matches will run at 120fps on next-gen consoles, with both consoles receiving next-gen optimization upgrades on December 8.
