Defiance's first beta event will be PC-only, kicks off this month

Trion has announced Defiance's first beta event will be PC-only, and kick off on January 18 and run through January 20. Titled "Advanced Beta Mission 1", players will be thrust into the futuristic San Francisco Bay region and play as the genetically enhanced ark hunter which are described as "part treasure hunter, part mercenary." Players will have access to the open-world shooter's tutorial, the Waterfront competitive multiplayer map, Mt. Tam, and the open-world boss battled the Shadow War and Arkfall. Sign up for it here.
