Defiance screens offer the Midas touch

Trion Worlds has released a small batch of gold-tinted screenshots for its upcoming MMO shooter.
The game, which will interconnect with a global television program on Syfy, offers a smidgen of colour amongst a dull landscape. Part Halo, part Gears of War, it's difficult to analyse exactly where the finished product will fall.
For now, take a look at these screens.
Defiance will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in April 2013.
