Decision on Chinese WoW to be made soon

wowchina

It seems that a decision of World of Warcraft's short-term future in China is about to be sorted.

A JLM Pacific Epoch report (via GP), has claimed that the country's GAPP and Ministry of Culture has prepared sanctions for Chinese WoW operator, NetEase.

The authorities has reported decided how to deal with the company after it was discovered to be illegally operating its licence for the game.

An insider told JLM that details of the decision will be revealed mid-January. If the country doesn't shut down NetEase, the game could be up and running again soon after any sanctions are lifted.

Doesn't sound very healthy, does it?
