This Death Stranding video compares the trailers to the PS4 cinematics

How do the cutscenes in Death Standing compare to what we were shown in the trailers? Well, here's a video showing you.

Gamespot has released a video that compares the cinematics in Death Standing to the final product.

The video gives you a side-by-side look at the E3 2016 reveal and the 2017 TGA trailer compared to the same, in-game cinematics on PS4 Pro.

While there are noticeable differences in some instances such as color changes on uniforms, a revamped water scene, and less shiny tar, the game still looks rather nice in our opinion. Judge for yourself, obviously.

In many instances, you cannot compare trailers to the actual product, as they are rendered differently. Or just full-blown CGI. Plus, content is always subject to change so something shown in a trailer may not make it into the full game.

Anyway, enjoy the comparison video below.

The game releases tomorrow, November 8 on PS4. It's coming to PC in 2020.

While you wait, be sure to give our Death Stranding review a read, and look over the reviews round-up.
