Dead Space 2 Excavations trailer catches up on plot

Dead Space 2's latest trailer, The Excavations, will get you up to speed on the game's story before the sequel hits later this month.
It was released a few days ago, but we've posted it anyway courtesy of Viso Games in case you haven't seen. We hadn't.
The video introduces not only the story of the game's universe, but catches up on all that's happened right up to the start of Dead Space 2.
Hopefully, you've a save file stored of Dead Space 1, as you can unlock original plasma cutter for sequel.
The game is out on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on January 25 in the US and January 28 in Europe, which gives you plenty of time to try out the demo on PSN and XBL if you haven't already.
