Dead Space 2 contest winner's idea, likeness to be featured in game

You may not know it, but you've been training for this moment for years. After all, you're a gamer. If aliens existed and needed to be exterminated, you'd be on the 2 AM infomercial for the Alien Chopper. Let's face it: you're as qualified as they come.

And while it's no 2 AM infomercial, Visceral Games is giving you the opportunity to have your alien dismemberment idea featured in the next best thing: a videogame!

All you need to do is submit your idea (via Facebook) to Visceral Games and presto! You're... entered in a contest that you might win but probably not. Your submission can take the form of a written description, picture, or video. Beyond that, feel free to go wild - the more gruesome the better.

If Visceral happens to take a shine to whatever twisted machination you dream up, your dismemberment will be featured in Dead Space 2 - along with your likeness. We'd say Visceral wants to  immortalize you in videogame form, but knowing the life expectancy of most Dead Space characters, we're going to restrain ourselves from using that particular term. Anyway, you get the idea.

So make with the murderous thoughts. Well, so long as you're 18 or older and live in the US, Canada (except for Quebec), Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy or Sweden, anyway. Otherwise, you're out of luck. And while we feel like this goes without saying, if you're not able to enter the contest, how about you just keep those dismemberment fantasies to yourself, m'kay?
