Looks like a director for the Dead Rising film has been found - report

It appears the Dead Rising film has a director, and according to The Wrap, it's Zach Lipovsky.

The full-length feature will be aired on Sony’s video on demand service Crackle and is being produced by Legendary Pictures' digital arm, Legendary Digital Media.

Transformers' Lorenzo di Bonaventura is the executive producer, and Mortal Kombat: Legacy writer Tim Carter will pen the script.

Lipovsky started out in visual effects and was a contestant on Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett's reality series On the Lot.

He directed Leprechaun: Origins for Lionsgate and WWE Studios and was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer.
