Dead Rising 3 gets 13GB update, links to Operation Broken Eagle DLC suspected

Dead Rising 3 has received a 13GB update on Xbox One, which is believed to be linked to Capcom Vancouver's incoming DLC pack Operation Broken Eagle.

It follows the appearance of Dead Rising Collection on Amazon. Hit the link to check it out.

The Escapist reports that the update is mandatory if you wish to continue playing online. It's unclear what the update involves, but the folk over at Reddit have speculated that it's to do with Operation Broken Eagle, launching later this month. The DLC is one of four content drops that make up the Dead Rising 3 season pass. It will be followed by Fallen Angel, Chaos Rising and The Last Agent.

OXM adds that the full Dead Rising 3 base install is around 19.9GB, suggesting that the DLC is significant in size.
