Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate screens show off new tag team mode

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will have a 2v2 tag team mode for the first time in the franchise's history.

Shack News reports the new version boasts better netcode for online multiplayer, lower search time for suitable matches, and loads of new costumes - 231 in total, including some unlockable only by winning online battles.

The fighter is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 3, and a free-to-play version is coming to the PlayStation Network.
