Dead Island ships 1 million in first week in US, 2 million worldwide expected by week's end

Deep Silver's announced overnight in the US via the medium of press release that its shipped 1 million units of Dead Island in the country. The publisher now expects to hit 2 million units shipped worldwide by the end of the week. The Techland, not without its controversies after release last week, went to the the top of the UK charts earlier this week.
