DC FanDome event to return this October

Warner has announced it will host another DC FanDome event and it is set to take place in October.

Like the previous year's event, you can expect October 16th's DC FanDome event to have all sorts of news on upcoming films.

You can also expect announcements and panels, and probably some news on upcoming Warner games.

Two games come to mind: 2022's Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, both of which were revealed during last year's event.

Originally slated for release sometime this year, Gotham Knights will instead arrive in 2022, according to a delay announcement from March.

The game stars Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood. In it, Batman has flown the coop so to speak, and it is up to the aforementioned characters to take up arms against the Court of Owls.

The open-world game sees the heroes join forces to take on Mr. Freeze in one of several Villain encounters found within the city. It can be played solo or two-player co-op. It's coming PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a continuation of the studio’s Arkham Universe and an original take on the Suicide Squad. The action-adventure third-person shooter can be played solo or with up to four players in online co-op.

Storywise, it follows Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark who must take on an “impossible mission to save Earth” and kill the world’s DC Super Heroes. Each member has a lethal explosive implanted in their head, so they have no choice but to “band together and carry out this untenable assignment” as part of Amanda Waller’s Task Force X.

It is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

Since both of these games are at least a year out, it's possible more information on each will be revealed at the event.
