Days Gone delayed to April, Concrete Genie coming in spring 2019

Sony has shared an update on some of the most anticipated games created by its Worldwide Studios teams.

Days Gone, which got a February 22 release date back in June, has now been pushed back to April 26, an over two-months delay.

The delay moves it away from the very crowded February-March release window, and developer Bend Studio will be using this time for polish.

Today's blog post also gave us an update on Concrete Genie, Pixelopus' painting action adventure.

Though no release date was provided for the game, Sony confirmed that it's targeting a spring 2019 release. Everybody’s Golf VR, a VR version of the popular golf game, is too shooting for a spring 2019 release.

Days Gone has not been especially well received in pre-release previews, and Game Informer's reveal of the first hour did not go down well online either. Hopefully the delay will help Bend turn things around, as the game does appear to have improved in the most recent footage, revealed at TGS 2018.

Keep up with all confirmed release dates in our mega release date list.
