Dawn Paine to leave Nintendo UK

MCV's reporting this morning that Nintendo UK marketing boss Dawn Paine is to leave the company.

Paine has had a ten-year tenture at Nintendo, but will now head to Universal UK as its VP of marketing from March 5. Her last day at Nintendo is February 24.

Nintendo UK GM David Yarnton is to oversee the marketing team, with senior managers Rob Lowe, James Honeywell and Jo Bartlett to report to him directly.

"Dawn has been a valuable member of the Nintendo UK senior management team and over her ten years with the company has contributed greatly to our success through her leadership of the award winning NUK Marketing Team," said Yarnton.

"We would like to thank Dawn for everything that she has done and achieved during her time at Nintendo and we wish her all the best in the future."

Paine had recently overseen the launches of Nintendo 3DS, Wii and DS, as well as software like Mario Kart and Wii Sports.
