Darkspore beta sign ups are live

EA's opened up the beta sign-up pages for Darkspore over on the game's official website.
No word just yet on when the beta start, but the game is slated for release during Q1 next year, so likely it will start soon.
Those interested in testing the sci-fi action-RPG can sign up here.
Hopefully you still have the Creature Creator released in 2008 for Spore installed on your computer, because Darkspore makes use of it.
