DRM-free versions of many of THQ Nordic's big upcoming games will be available on their respective release dates.
THQ Nordic and GOG have announced a pretty landmark deal that would see several of the publisher's upcoming titles released - day and date - on the platform, completely DRM-free.
GOG is no stranger to day-one DRM-free releases, but this is the first time a publisher has announced a DRM-free this far in advance. What this means is that Darksiders 3, Biomutant, This is the Police 2, and Fade to Silence will all be released on GOG on the same day as their release on Steam and other platforms.
Fade to Silence is already available on Steam Early Access, but the rest of these games do not yet have release dates. They're all coming out in 2018, though.
This is big news for fans of GOG and DRM-free games, and comes at a time when publishers continue to employ Denuvo and other anti-cheat software to protect their games in the early days of release.
You can check out the official announcement, and get notified when the games go on sale at GOG.
