Dark Souls series has sold over 27 million units worldwide

The Dark Souls series is very popular.

From Software has announced its Dark Souls series has sold over 27 million copies to date.

The figure is up by 2 million units over what was reported in June 2019 when the developer's upcoming action-RPG game, Elden Ring, was announced.

Dark Souls was released in 2011 as a follow up to 2009's Demon's Souls and was followed by Dark Souls 2 in 2014.

Dark Souls 3 was released in 2016, and publisher Bandai Namco announced today the title has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
